about

In 2003, bassist Jon Pomplin was convinced by studio/label owner and vocalist Todd Joos to began work on the follow up release to the critically acclaimed 2001 solo CD from Jon entitled Project 814 "Declassified". With the agreement that Jon would finance the project and the band would tour, Jon agreed and Mark Summers (guitars) and James Miller (keys), returned from the "Project 814" sessions. The addition fellow session drummer Steve Morris completed the ensemble.

Though part of it became a reboot of Todd's past songs from his Nashville days in a rock format, Jon, Todd, Mark and James each contributed several new songs to this new endeavor. This included Miller's passionate composition "The Janitor's Song", a tribute to the common man lost on 9/11 and Jon's rock tracks "News at Nine" about over sensationalism in media and the "Brothers in Arms" honoring America's Vietnam War Veterans.

The release was completed in 2004 and released worldwide, selling out the CD release show in 5 minutes. Redemption immediately gained international critical acclaim from a wide variety of music and mainstream media outlets as was featured on FM radio stations worldwide. The Music Video for "Brothers in Arms" was nominated for several awards including "Best Music Video" at NIFF and is included here as a download exclusively.
