about

In 2003, bassist Jon Pomplin and vocalist Todd Joos began work on the follow up release to the critically acclaimed 2001 solo CD from Jon entitled Project 814 "Declassified" at the Cellar Records studios. After re-enlisting the talents of Mark Summers on guitars and James Miller on keys, who returned from the "Project 814" sessions, and the addition fellow session drummer Steve Morris, the project began to take shape very quickly. Jon, Todd, Mark and James each contributed several songs to this new endeavor including Miller's passionate composition "The Janitor's Song", a tribute to the common man lost on 9/11 and Jon's hard-rock tracks "News at Nine" about over sensationalism in media and the "Brothers in Arms" honoring America's Vietnam War Veterans.

Each members' musical influences were certainly evident, but not overpowering, giving the project a unique flavor. The release was completed in late 2004 and released worldwide. Redemption immediately gained international critical acclaim from a wide variety of music and mainstream media outlets as was featured on are radio. The Music Video for "Brothers in Arms" was nominated for several awards including "Best Music Video" at NIFF and is included here as a download exclusively.
